Son, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about procrastination but I keep putting it off. (Get it? ha-ha) I am still not comfortable giving you advice on this subject because it continues to be a major area of opportunity for me.

I know you have already felt some of the stress associated with waiting until the last minute to get things done. (homework) I know you realize it’s not fun.

I procrastinated so much, I started convincing myself that I operate better when my butt is on the line and I am barely holding my feet above the fire. The stress forced me to “act”, so I figured I was better suited for those high stress situations.

I’ll come back to this when I can show you I am leading by example. Wish me luck!
